Motel168 is the creative brainchild of
Pegy and Phillip Hochstrate

Motel 168 is an urban electronic duo, the creators are Pegy Gaile & philip Hochstrate.
Pegy has formally worked as a backing singer for the band Morcheeba and is a talented singer / songwriter with strong lirical prowess.

She possesses a unique and soul filled voice which she discharges gracefully and effortlessly.

Philip Hochstrate is an accomplished pianist and Royal Accademy graduate whose love of melody he shares with Pegy.

Both Pegy & Philip have eclectic tastes in music.

Philip draws influences from composers as diverse as Debussy and Ravel, whilst Pegy loves Nina Simone and has favourite songs by Stevie Wonder.

Motel 168 are the best of both worlds, Smooth, soulful vocals with influences of Jazz, percussive electronic piano & guitar lead sound scapes with the odd respectful nod toward hip-hop and blues.

In the melting pot of vibes they have managed to create something captivating and compelling that manages to encapsulate the new and the retro.
